CARIB CHAMBER host luncheon for Ambassador of Haiti

His Excellency Raymond Joseph, Ambassador of Haiti, Washington D.C. , recently visited Tampa Bay on a 3 day mission to share, discuss, and meet with business professionals from various business sectors such as medical, academic, NGO, and construction, respectively. The CARIB CHAMBER hosted a private luncheon along with French American Business Council of West Florida (FRAMCO) and Fowler White  (Int’l Attorney Firm) for the Ambassador to meet with the various business professionals at the University Club in downtown Tampa. His Excellency attended the 1st U.S. Memorial Service in both the city of Tampa and the City of St. Petersburg, Florida and had the opportunity to meet with the respective mayors of both cities and thank for their continued support. Whilst in Tampa, the Ambassador was the honourary guest & host of a Town Hall Meeting at UDCC in Tampa. The Town Hall meeting was open to the general public.  Haitian families whom were directly affected by the tragic earthquake in the island nation of Haiti attended the function and had the opportunity to meet the Ambassador privately. The Ambassador continues his tour in the United States speaking at various ivy league universities and the private sector with the intent to gain long term support towards the relief efforts and the rebuilding of Haiti.

The Ambassador is an avid mouth-organ musician and took the opportunity to play for Haitian patients at a local hospital inTampa Bay which was well received by the patients.
