CARIBBEAN CHAMBER A PROVIDES A GOOD START FOR YOUTH SOCCER WITH HELP OF LOCAL BUSINESS
TAMPA, FLORIDA – Wednesday 24 February 2010. The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay (CACCTB) with the help of an anonymous Caribbean donor received twenty (20) new No.5 soccer balls, two (2) pumps and needles, and two (2) ball bags to help with the start of a Caribbean Under-12 coed soccer program organized by the Caribbean Community Association. President of the Chamber met with the head coach of the soccer program Mr. Coswell Jackson to hand over the donated equipment. Mr. Jackson was elated to receive the much needed equipment and that the soccer program gets under way in the first week of March 2010. In discussion, Mr. Jackson mentioned that the program is still seeking shin guards and two (2) soccer goal nets (8’ x 6’). The equipment was supplied by local soccer apparel store Soccer Field near the University of South Florida (USF), Tampa, Florida. The Chamber will continue to support and assist with the efforts of providing the soccer equipment and other needs for the coed soccer program. If any persons are interested in providing assistance please contact Derek Lloyd directly at the contact information above.
