HAITI: DISASTER ZONE
We have just witnessed one of the greatest disasters in Haiti’s history in over two decades. A 7.0 magnitude earthquake (Richter scale) hit Haiti on Tuesday, January 12th killing thousands. Some reports put the death toll in the hundreds of thousands. Those affected are in the hundreds of thousands as well.
Red Cross volunteers in Haiti are currently assisting the injured and supporting hospitals. The British Red Cross has launched the Haiti Earthquake Appeal to support the relief effort. France and the US have sent aid as well.
CACCTB, along with Mango Radio, Tampa Mayor Iorio and other organizations are part of Tampa’s collective efforts in helping to mobilize people and assistance to help the affected.
NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL!
